Jungle Tales- Soil disturbance, exposed bamboo roots, and scattered young rhizomes and bamboo shoots were often visible on the forest floor of the pristine Nallamala forests implying that it might be related to heavy browsing by some wild animals such as wild boar Sus scrofa š
Wild boar come after the bamboo shoots. They eat the hair roots, utilizes bamboo stands and eat new bamboo shoots. They have been empirically known to negatively affect bamboo growth. But it is a part of nature, and nature balances everything… šæ
