1. Parahyparrhenia bellariensis is an extremely rare, critically endangered Indian grass in the family Poaceae, notable for being rediscovered in 2021 after nearly 184 years. This highly endemic species, found in Andhra Pradesh and potentially Madhya Pradesh, was previously thought extinct.
