Panicum nallamalayensis

A geniculately ascending grass found on stream courses; found at stream crossing near leopard forest base camp Nandyal division; inflorescence paniculate with branches bearing contracted branchlets having dense spikelets with cuspidate lower glume. – probably new to science.
Digitaria nallamalayensis

A dwarf trailing grass with 2-3 digitate racemes with very small closely arranged hairy spikelets; seen growing on roadside rocky slope on return from GBM sanctuary base camps to Leopard base camp, Nandyal Division. – Probably new to science.
